QuestLove Illustration Process

QuestLove Illustration- I had a awesome time rocking this illustration for the Village Voice with Art Director Jesus Diaz. My process is pretty honed, I always try to knock out a good 4-5 sketches that I'm stoked about. Then when I get ok on the decided piece. I re-draw the piece in Blue Pencil on bristol board. Attack the sucker with brush and ink. I do detail work with a Micron Pen and hit up other sections with a brush pen. Scan it up and do colors in Photoshop. Pow and sent off to the Editor.
